A gorgeous cover, Jincy — I’m very much hoping that I’ll get to tell you in person at BookExpo America or, failing that, when St. Martin’s sends you to New York! After all, I managed to track down a first edition of “Jenny” and would *love* to have you sign it —

I just finished the book and loved it–couldn’t put it down…St. Martin’s Press should add speaking sites in places other than CA. We read in the mid-west too. What else is there to do????
Hate to tell you, but St. Martin’s doesn’t do speaking sites for fiction writers. In fact, as far as I know, most publishers don’t. That’s why I just do a few readings/signings, and they’re all pretty close by, what with the cost of gas and all.

Jincy,
It’s two am here, I’m so tired my eyes burn, my dogs are staring at me with theirs in silent appeal to snuff the lights and put them to bed already; but I have 101 pages to go and can’t stop.
This is all your fault.
Frankie. x
P.S.- Is it Edna?
P.P.S.- No no no don’t tell me!

This book kept me guessing till the very end!! I love the cover as well, it’s the reason I picked up the book, which was completely by chance. I loved the characters and even picked up some writing tips from Amy’s lessons… an amazing read!
As one of your former students, Jincy, when you knew me as Nancy Martin in your classes at Brown, I would like to send you a book I wrote, published by the University of New Mexico Press in 2009. I’m happy to report to you that the book won a 2010 NM Book Award for First Book and was a finalist for Biography. Last year at the beginning of June I visited Nancy Potter, my former URI creative writing prof. In my resumes of self I always cite you and her to impress people. Take care, Nancy Coggeshall
